Dedicated Clients Achieve Their Fitness Goals!

Clients are pleased to share their positive experiences with their trainer, Luiz.

Michael Riley, Senior N.C.O. US Army

At times, clients have very specific short term fitness goals. Michael Riley, a Senior US Army N.C.O. wanted to be in top form for the Annual Physical Fitness test (APFT). Luiz worked with Michael for several months to help him achieve his goal. Within 6 weeks of training with Luiz, Michael had lost 27 lbs, and was prepared for the physical demands of the test. "I wanted to be more than in shape. Luiz is a great motivator. He really gets into clients' psyches"

Luiz customizes fitness training for each client. In Michael's case, Luiz requested the Army exercise charts that outline the exercise repetition requirements per age group, and then designed the program around the chart, targeting both cardio and muscle development. He encouraged Michael towards exceeding those requirements, in fact. "He sets the bar high."

When asked if he would recommend Luiz to other servicemen in training, Michael's response is an emphatic "Yes! Luiz earns his clients' trust."

Arthur Howes, Retired Engineer

Luiz's clients include those with various health issues at various stages in their lives. As a retiree, Arthur enjoys golf and walking but found that his own irregular and less than comprehensive routine was not sufficiently improving his blood pressure problems. He also wanted to improve his golf game. Luiz has developed a routine for him focused on three areas: resistance training, weight training and a regimen that specifically strengthens Arthur's "golf-playing" muscles.

Arthur is quick to point out that Luis is easy to work with and "very interested in people". He recommends trying to get a spot in Luiz's schedule!

 

Colleen Beaubien, Waitress

Colleen had been working out for years on her own, but was disappointed not to be meeting her goals after a lot of hard effort. Once she started working with Luiz, Colleen realized that she hadn't been working out correctly.

Luiz worked with both her and her sister on an aggressive routine designed to trim fat and tone muscle. They succeeded, and now Colleen is a fan. She explains, "He doesn't try to limit a client's goals."

Colleen had several additional positive comments, including "he kicks ass", "I would recommend him over the other trainers. He's the best!" and "He's always helpful, even outside of the training appointments".
